The people of Rotterdam know exactly where to go, but for many others, exploring a city full of surprises can be a bit of a challenge. Rotterdam Centrum runs an online platform packed with experiences, showcased across all social media platforms too, whether you're planning a shopping trip, hunting for special places to eat and drink, or into design, architecture, culture and entertainment.
From 2021 to 2024, we helped Rotterdam Centrum bring the city centre to life through social media. Our work covered strategy, content creation, management and growth. We translated local places, businesses, events and people into a consistent flow of content. Organic storytelling and paid campaigns worked together to reach and engage a wider audience.

For Rotterdam Centrum we developed a social media strategy. This strategy resulted in a tailored social identity, including content formats based on engaging interaction with its communities. Social media is not about just posting, but about maintaining a strategic focus. This approach also includes community management, with daily attention paid to interaction with the online community on the platforms. Social listening is part of this, we listen directly to feedback from the community and monitor direct mentions.
